I’m still taking a break from writing my regular weekly Almanac. Back to normal next week with Mary, Martha and Lazarus (29th July). But for now, I have three things for you that might be of interest.
The first is a video I made in Gloucester last week about the Burning of Bishop Hooper. It’s a fascinating story and I reflect on it at the end. Please do watch it when you have 17 minutes to spare:
If you enjoyed it, have a look for other videos I’ve made, like this one about the last Abbot of Glastonbury.
Secondly, The Wycliffe Papers is not on holiday. The (made-up) news never sleeps. The latest headlines landed yesterday:
Finally, I was on a podcast that might be of interest. I talk to Jonny Woodrow about comedy, writing, my journey and why the Parable of the Good Samaritan is funny. And LOTS of other things. We go for ninety minutes! You can find it as a regular podcast on Apple HERE. Or watch it here:
Next time, Mary, Martha and Lazarus! And I’ll be at the Keswick unConventional. Maybe see you there.
